About
Stephen Dodgson BSc, FRICS, MISVA, Dip(DEA), FlinstCPD, — a Rainford family member and the proprietor of Rainfords Surveyors (Chartered Surveyors & Valuers) — brings over 50 years of experience in property and house surveying.
Every report is carried out personally by Stephen, ensuring a truly bespoke and highly professional service for each client. His depth of knowledge, attention to detail and long-standing reputation for quality underpin every instruction he undertakes.
Stephen also acts as an Independent External Valuer and fully complies with the requirements of the RICS Valuation Global Standards 2025, incorporating the IVSC International Valuation Standards.
Stephen Dodgson’s Expertise
Stephen’s expertise is widely recognised across the profession. He is a past Chairman of both the Chester Association of Property Professionals and the Liverpool Districts & North Wales Branch of the Incorporated Society of Valuers & Auctioneers. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a Fellow of the Institute of Continuing Professional Development, reflecting his long-standing commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development.
In addition, Stephen is a member of the Independent Surveyors & Valuers Association and is fully qualified and recognised by the RICS as a Registered Valuer.
Rainfords Surveyors is also Regulated by the RICS, providing clients with the assurance that all work is carried out to the highest professional and ethical standards.
